Benjamin Karpilow has been with the firm since 2010. He specializes in employment discrimination and wrongful termination. Mr. Karpilow is an experienced trial attorney who has represented hundreds of employees in state and federal court, including the California Court of Appeals. He also has extensive experience representing employees in administrative proceedings before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board, California Employment Development Department, and Division of Labor Standards Enforcement.
Mr. Karpilow earned his undergraduate degree at Humboldt State University. He graduated cum laude from Empire College School of Law, where he received recognition for academic excellence, and wrote for the law review.
Mr. Karpilow has served on the boards of directors of various non-profit and private organizations, and advocates for disability rights on the local and state levels. He is a member of the California Bar Association and Sonoma County Bar Association.
In his free time, Mr. Karpilow enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, traveling, and playing the trumpet.
